Manifesto
First they said the climate wasn’t changing.
It was just the weather.
Then they said it might be changing. But this was natural.
Then they said maybe mankind was changing the climate after all.
But it was too hard to do anything about it.
We, citizens of the world, refuse to consider climate change a problem any longer. All the solutions for a carbon free economy are here: solar energy, wind, hydro, geo, strategies for innovation and mitigation. We refuse to let fossil industries and companies with their millions of dirty money delay the change to a low carbon world any longer. We demand strong, sustained and ambitious action from our politicians around the world. Decarbonize now! To remind them of our wish we will send packets of charcoal to our heads of state. May their mail rooms overflow with mountains of coal!
